GTU is a member of the Autonomous Tenants Union Network (ATUN). Us along with fellow West Coast tenants unions are meeting in Oakland.
From ATUN:
Over two full days of focused exchange, established unions and newer ones will determine how best to support each other to defend the spaces in our communities that have been targeted by predatory real estate and neglected by those in office.
Reflecting upon campaigns, actions, mutual aid projects, information sharing between unions, and the political terrain of our cities and states, participants will map the growth of the tenant power movement on the west coast in the year ahead.
